Me vs Water

I had another nightmare about water, which got me to think that all this time, I have a very strange relation with water.

My family had a very nice beach house. I don’t remember how my father got it, but we had it. It was very nice, think it was somewhere in America’s sunny state. The house was actually on top of a small hill, but exactly at the edge of the beach. So when we stood there in the porch, we could directly see water below us. We spent our weekends there, me and my family. And there were one time when the water suddenly raised up, might be because of the rain. It was like a flood. The water was getting higher and higher and reached the porch but didn’t get in to the house.

Sometime after, I spent my weekend there with someone that I’m not quite remember who, think it was Mario or.. Angga (why Angga, cause I remember there was a scene when I strangely dialed his phone number). We were sleeping on a bed faced directly to the porch. Then at night, the water raised again. It was even a bigger flood then before. The water raised up, hit the porch and half of the house. The house tore into two. The front side was float away to the sea. We were sitting panicly (is that even a word, panicly?), holding tightly to the sheet and bed, when the water hit the bottom side of the bed and we were carried to the big big sea. It seemed like the whole earth was covered by water and we sit still on the bed, not knowing for sure where the water would take us.

I remember that picture perfectly when I woke up, and it made me remember that I had another nightmare last night, before the beach house one.

I was in a plane. Not quite remember from where. I also don’t remember where the destination was. But the sky was bright and sunny. I could clearly see the airport to the fact that we were about to land soon. I sit by the window, at the left side of the plane. The airport was at my left side. The sea was below us. Then from the right side window (yea, I sit at the left side but somehow I can reached the right side window), we the passengers, saw this big orange Kopaja (an awful Jakarta public bus) jumped into the ocean. So we started to be panic and questioning how could it happened (it was strange enough to saw a Kopaja somewhere at the airport area). Then we saw this huge water spin at the sea below us. The bus got in, powerless. That was when we realize that the plane suddenly turn left, and started to spin like 360 degree and getting closer and closer to the water. We knew we were going to be down soon. And it happened. We got sucked in the water. What surprised us later was the fact that we were okay and the water didn’t even get in the plane, though we were drowning. What came to our mind was it was a plane, it designed not to even have a single tiny hole so it could perfectly fly. Then the plane bumped to the left. I saw my left side window started to crack. That was when I looked clearly through the window that we hit something from an iron. Then all that we could see in the windows are irons. We were at some garage. A plane-garage in the water. Or “worse”. It was an airport, in the sea. We were amazed. We started to take our cameras and made pictures. Then a few seconds later, there was a guy who we thought someone in charge, stood at the center of the plane and explained us that we were actually safe, cause we had arrived in a water-airport. Then I realized that he looked like Captain Picard, and the plane was actually looked so close to The Enterprise.

So, as I told you, the serial nightmares about water (last year was full of tsunami’s nightmares, which happened like once in 1-2 month, and I actually still had them until earlier this year) lead me to think that I have a strange relation with water. I started to jot down one by one.

1. The sport that I do best is swimming. No. The only sport I can do is swimming. I actually love being in the water. In a proper amount of water.
2. My best friend is an Aquarian. My exes who hang out with me the most are Aquarians. I even spent my last crazy vacation with Aquarian girlfriends!

Today, I went to a family doctor today for my “regular” pharyngitis. And for sure she gave me another lecture about the importance of having as much water as we can in our daily life (she knows exactly that I don’t drink enough water, told you.. she’s the family doctor). She also gave me “sub-lesson” about my disease : nasopharyng drip (or at least that’s what I heard), which I found quite entertaining (yea, I wanted to be a doctor).

So, if any of you understand what really is going on between me and water (I’m a Virgo), please do try to explain, I really wanna know. But no explanation from the astrological side please.. you know, the water and the earth sign, cause I don’t really believe it.

So why am I putting “I’m a Virgo” up there?

Oh shit.. I can’t even decide if I believe in star signs. I’m a Libra!! :(
