a vow is a promise. however ideally, the activity should be done with a full consciousness.
and because it's so popular, you can hear people talk about it everywhere:
- my friend N: "nikah itu lo bikin janji sama Tuhan An, ga bisa dibreak gitu aja.."
- my friend N: "nikah itu lo bikin janji sama Tuhan An, ga bisa dibreak gitu aja.."
- my last ex bf: "gue ngga bisa, gue udah janji sama dia.."
- George O'Malley's mom (Grey's Anatomy season 4): "you made a vow to Callie, you made a vow to God.."
Question is..when you make that super vow, okay you're conscious, but you're in love.
love blinds people. so you're not really that conscious-conscious.
now still the vow legitimate? can you really count on that?
